In an apartment block with dozens of units, visitors and delivery riders cannot reach anyone without phoning, and guards end up making calls on their own airtime, a daily hassle that intercom installation in Ruiru fixes with a simple panel at the gate that rings straight into each unit.

Nerpax Systems installs multi-unit audio and video intercoms for apartments and gated communities, and single-home systems for maisonettes and bungalows. After surveying the building, we plan cable routes through ducts and stairwells, then supply, install and commission the gate panel, indoor handsets or monitors, and an electric lock or gate release if you have one.

Video intercoms let tenants see visitors before letting them in, which reduces strangers wandering into shared corridors. For landlords, a reliable intercom is also a selling point when letting units. We test every unit at handover and leave a simple user guide for tenants. Request a quote with your unit count.

Serving Ruiru

Ruiru has become one of the fastest-growing towns on the Thika Superhighway, with Tatu City, Kamakis and the Eastern Bypass bringing gated communities, apartments, warehouses and new commercial centres. Developers need full electrical installations, metering and lighting, while landlords want intercoms, access control and CCTV for shared blocks. Industrial and logistics sites call for control panels, perimeter cameras and generator backup. Family homes ask for automated gates and electric fencing. Nerpax Systems supplies, installs and delivers across Ruiru.

Intercom Installation in Ruiru: FAQs

Can a guard house in a Ruiru estate call individual homes on the intercom?

Yes. Many systems include a guard station that can call any house or unit, and residents can call the guard house back. This lets guards confirm visitors before opening the gate. We plan the layout around your estate's size and cabling routes.

What happens to the intercom when a tenant moves out?

The indoor unit stays with the apartment, so the next tenant uses it as normal. For systems with access codes or app links, the old tenant's access can be removed and new details set up. We show the landlord or caretaker how to manage this.
